This is a concept board for one of the bedrooms within House Moosa. The bedroom was for the family’s youngest daughter, so there is an element of playfulness, by incorporating hanging linen panels which creates a fresh take on a ‘four poster bed’ canopy but with a revised more contemporary feel. This brings it up to date and will allow it to stand the test of time as she grows older. Listening to the client and what they want from the room, in look and functionality, the hanging linen is paired with a blend of natural finishes. Such as the rich American Walnut veneer on the floating side pedestals, desk, and natural grass wallpaper. The room is kept young and fresh with hints of purple through the upholstery and fitted wardrobe along with translucent elements like the desk chair and patterned glass door fronts.
